Hi everyone! Here's a bit about me ... if you we haven't already met, physically or virtually! Some of you may know me as the MC at the Empower general sessions or the name behind the Run Smarter awards. I prefer to think of myself as the "Friend to the Users" - you all are the best thing about Laserfiche, no joke!

Occupation: Director of Marketing Communications (although I am also known as the "Fairy Godmother" by many of our Laserfiche community!)

Fun fact about you: I love to knit! My goal this year is to knit 12 sweaters and so far I'm on track - just about to finish up numbers 10 and 11. Here's a photo of me in the newest sweater I finished - I knit it for my 15 year college reunion, which was just last week!

Fun fact about you:  I like to cook - a lot.  And, believe it or not, not necessarily with bacon. (Though my award-wining chili has a bit of bacon in it.)  I have small vegetable and herb gardens and cook the food I harvest for much of the warm-weather months.

Fun fact about you:  I am not an Alberta girl!  Consider myself a B.C. girl, but raised all across Canada (Ontario, B.C., Yukon, and now live in Alberta)

I joined the Government group of LF Answers because I am designing and implementing the County's repository and the comment our Implementation Committee has made more than once is, "We shouldn't have to re-invent the wheel.  How have the other Alberta municipalities using Laserfiche dealt with this issue?".  I'm looking for better ways to deal with the issues we're running into, but finding the others I've contacted need/want help, too.  Let's build a place for them to find ANSWERS!  Love LF Answers, and am extremely pleased that this Government group has been started!

Fun fact about you: I have an alternate persona named Bob Philaphall. He's into real estate since the bottom fell out of the alpaca wool market. But he's doing ok after having sold the Hammerstagbraugh Estate in downtown Electra, Texas. He tends to keep nibbles in one pocket and random Christmas ornaments in the other. Generally he only makes appearances at my girlfriends holiday functions when she arrives late or leaves me alone too long. She's learning.
