I was recently upgraded to Windows 7, so all of my software was reinstalled. I'm running Laserfiche 8.3, using Kofax as my "choose scan source" along with the ISIS version 2.1 driver for my Fujitsu fi-6770 scanner. I've run into a problem I've never had before and I've been doing document imaging for about 14 years. When I select the Laserfiche despeckle option while in the Basic scan mode, the scanned image reverses itself: white becomes black and black becomes white. When scanning in the Standard mode, with the same brightness and contrast settings, selecting the same Laserfiche despeckle option, the image remains correct: white is white and black is black. Kofax has no clue as to why this is happening even after remoting in and looking at all my settings. I do not have the "invert image colors" turned on or any other reverse process checked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I realize that this is not addressing the issue, but why not use VRS despeckle instead of the LF despeckle?

Could you have your Laserfiche reseller open a case with Tech Support, specify the exact version of Laserfiche used and attach a few sample scanned documents?
