Save to repository requires a username and password. Does this require we purchase a Named License to use the save to repository feature or does it work without any licensing like workflow?

Answer
Hi Chad,
Basically. Yes it does need a license. It was discussed here https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/59794/Feature-Request-Forms-Development-User-does-not-require-a-license
Kind of annoying to be honest....
Hope this helps answer your question!

Chad, you could use the admin username and password if that helps.
Question about this. If I use the admin account, does it use up one of it's 2 allowed active logins?
I have seen people using admin as the Import Agent and for Quick Fields connections but I expect using the Admin account to save on licensing in this way could cause a lock out of the account.
Is anyone else suddenly able to save to repository without a license. It is working now even though we had all our customers assign a license to the forms account.
For Save to Repository Service task, it doesn't require a named user license for the user that used in the profile. You just need to make sure the user has enough access right to be able to add new documents in the repository.
Please check whether the profile can be updated correctly when you click "verify and update" button for the profile
And what error you get when you refer to that you were not be able to save to repository without a license?
