Question

dragging and dropping directly from outlook 2013

asked on July 30, 2014

When we use the office integration for Outlook 2013 to save a file into Laserfiche it will autofill the template fields we set up. e.g. "To" as "Recipients" . However, when we drag  an email directly from Outlook 2013 it doesn't autofill these fields. This feature used to work in old versions of Outlook, does Laserfiche 9.1 have this capability?

Hi Daniel,

I'm going to hazard a guess that the Office 2013 is x64? Drag and drop from office x64 doesn't work.

see here - https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/52197/Are-there-any-plans-to-introduce-an-x64-based-Laserfiche-Client

The current workaround is the use the save to laserfiche instead.

Hope this helps! yes

have you tried uninstalling the integration and reinstalling? it might need to be reinstalled after upgrading the outlook software

As of 9.0.2, the Laserfiche Office integration is compatible with Office 2013. Have you set up import options for Outlook within the Laserfiche Client? Check out Tools > Options > New Documents > Outlook and make sure Outlook fields are being mapped to the email template. You can also set default Outlook import options from the Admin Console under Repository Options > Settings > Default Outlook import options.

Yes we have. The only thing that has changed is upgrading to office 2013.
