A client is using RIO, and they're getting an error message when trying to add a new user in the License Manager as a named user. The error message is this: The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG)). Any idea what it is we're doing wrong? I found another issue with loading users, and the resolution there seemed to be to upgrade to 9.1.1 (client is on 9.0 right now, and scheduling to upgrade to 9.1 early next week per my recommendation). But if there is anything else beyond this, that would be good to know.

Hi Caleb,
Is the license manager server installed on a computer that is on a different domain? I don't know if this is the same issue but I've seen it comes up when there isn't a trusted connection established between the two domains.
They upgraded the problem machine, but still with the same issues. They are both on the same domain. One is a machine used for testing, and it is housing a repository for a new Department (this is repository with the issues (v. 9.1.1)); the other is the Primary server with 3 repositories (still running v. 9.0).
Hello Everyone,
This is windows rights issue. The user that is logged in and is using the license manager needs to have domain admin rights. You can just add it from your Active Directory. And don’t forget to log out and log in after you add the rights.
