Can laserfiche avante work with Microsoft Foundations? Will it integrate in a Novell environment?

I have a potential client whose current environment is all Novell (latest version), virtualized with VMWare that we are proposing Avante.

We would like to re-task an existing physical server or create a new VM for the Microsoft OS.  We are thinking Microsoft Foundations with SQL Workgroup/Express.

  •          Do you have any issues using Foundations?
  •          How challenging will integrating Laserfische into a Novell environment be? 
  •        Does Laserfiche have options and guidelines for Novell integration?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use Foundation as long as you aren't bumping into any of the resource or user limitations.

 

We used to run Avante under Novell. (Well it was kind of Novell, the servers were AD and the desktops were Novell, but I don't think there'd be a problem) The clients all authenticated via LDAP and it worked just fine. You just have to log in with a user name in the format username@serverprofile.
