Workflow Server License via RIO License Manager

I'm trying to generate a license for our Workflow server.  We are currently running RIO 9.0.3, Workflow 9.0.2.224

 

When I generate a license file from LM it will only generate a .lic file.  Within Workflow when I try to import a license it only looks for a .licx and I'm unable to use the .lic (error message: Unable to parse license file)

Workflow 8.3 and higher does not need a license in Rio environments.
