LF Client 9 - Win 7 PRO - Symantec Endpoint problems

Having a problem on Windows 7 Pro PCs when the using the latest Symantec Endpoint clients.

LF Client 9 will see the LF server but will not see the repository.  Works fine with no Symantec Endpoint installed on client.  I tweaked firewall ports on Symantec.   Opened 1888, 5050, 5051, 80, etc.  No luck.

I am obviously missing something.  Any ideas?

I am sorry for being vague, but I'm pretty sure I had to setup a rule inside symantec per host (i.e. a rule allowing the ip of the lf server). It ended up being similar to the Kapersky issue I posted. I don't recall where inside symantec as the last time I did this was quite a while ago. I don't think global port exceptions helped.

I am pretty sure when I discovered this issue with Kapersky and documented it here I was inspired by my previous issue with Symantec :)

Well....it appears it may be DNS related...I put in the raw IP address of the LF server vs letting it find the server name(which it does) and the repository shows.(??)  Going to run like that.
