Can Snapshot 8 be installed/used with LF Client 9?

I have a client who is using Pro Fx and since upgrading to Snapshot 9, documents that are in landscape are not rotating. Works fine when printing to PDF. I opened a support case, but they wanted videos showing me making setting changes and printing, etc. The client had enough of that.

Anyway, is it possible to use the Snapshot 8 printer instead of 9 while using LF client 9? I would uninstall Snapshot 9 and install Snapshot 8 separately using the .msi.

Yes, I think it'll work if you install the MSI directly, but it's definitely not supported. Snapshotting from within the client using "Generate Pages" will be broken though as the means of communication between the client and Snapshot changed in LF 9.0.

Could you please provide a link to a website that describes the application your customer is having trouble with? That might help us debug this on our end.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your response. It appears the software the client is using was upgraded right prior to us upgrading them to 9. The software itself has changed and is no longer rotating pages when printing to TIF, let alone Snapshot.
