Question

Adobe Reader Markups and Drawings

asked on December 4, 2013

LF version: 8.3.2
Reader: 11.0.3
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3

When printing with Snapshot, Markups and Drawings are not transferring into LF. I have tried all the TIFF settings on Color, Grey and still not showing in LF.

This is only happening on one machine so far. It works on others with same software.

We have not had this issue on LF 9.0.2 or Windows 7 x86 or x64.

Does anyone know the settings to correct this issue?

Thank you all for the help.  Found that in Adobe Reader Markups had been turned off.

Hi Bryan-

Including PDF markups in the printing should be a function of Acrobat Reader or whatever PDF application you are using. On the Laserfiche side, you might find better luck with the native PDF page extraction, which does have the option of preserving PDF annotations. In general, we recommend using this method over Snapshot.

Snapshot is a printing driver. I would recommend trying 9.0.2 on this machine as you mentioned it wasnt having any problems and there is likely some updates to that driver between 8.3.2 and 9.0.2

Windows I install 9.0.2 on a Windows XP machine I get COM error in LF Scan so I have to keep 8.3.2 on XP unless there is a fix for that.

sounds like you should contact Laserfiche Support for that error. That would point you to the hotfix if it exists.
