Today, August 3rd, 2026, Laserfiche announces the deprecation for the Self-hosted Laserfiche Integration with Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and the In-browser Co-authoring features.  

Laserfiche Self-hosted Integration with Microsoft SharePoint 2016   

Microsoft no longer supports SharePoint 2016. Accordingly, Laserfiche will end development and provide limited support for this integration through December 31, 2026. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to Laserfiche Cloud for the best experience when integrating with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint. 

In-browser Co-authoring for Laserfiche Self-hosted 

Microsoft announced End-of-Life for the Office Online Server. While Laserfiche Self-hosted systems, including perpetually licensed platforms, will continue to include the WOPI host package, limited support will end on December 31, 2026. Customers using this feature are encouraged to transition to Laserfiche Cloud for a more modern co-authoring experience.
