Webtools - Error configuring client error

Hi All,

 

We've seen across several self-hosted sites over the last few weeks this same error repeatedly, and are struggling to make sense of it. 

 

Has anyone else seen this error and/or have a resolution for it?

  1. What is the Webtools version? 
  2. Check if TLS 1.0 and 1.1 is turned off on the user workstation. Try with 1.0 and 1.1 turned off, and 1.2 enabled.
  3. Just to confirm if the issue is with cert validation, try setting the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\Webtools Agent\DisableCertificateValidation to Yes. End Laserfiche Webtools Agent.exe from Task manager and start from C:\Program Files (x86)\Laserfiche\Webtools Agent\ and test. Undo if there is no change.
  4. Is there any more information in Webtools agent logs?
  5. Is the issue the same with AV disabled (for testing only)?
