Urgent Issue with Laserfiche 12 – Web Agent Not Working Properly

asked on July 29 Show version history

Hello everyone.

I’m currently facing an urgent issue related to the latest version of Laserfiche 12, specifically with the Laserfiche Web Agent.

I’ve downloaded and installed the Web Agent in order to use the Scanner feature for archiving. However, whenever I try to click on the Scanner icon from the Laserfiche Web Client, I am prompted to download the Web Agent again—even though it’s already installed.

I’ve tested this on both Chrome and Edge browsers.

To troubleshoot, I’ve removed all archiving-related applications from my device and reinstalled them, but the issue persists. When I attempt to use the scanning feature, I receive the following error message:

Error configuring client. System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine

Please see the attached files for more details

I would appreciate your urgent support, as I’m planning to launch the new system very soon.

Note: I am using Laserfiche Self-Hosted.

Thank you.

I would suggest you work with your solution provider to open a support case. "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine" is a very suggestive message, but it will take some back and forth troubleshooting to determine the root cause and a solution.
