We are releasing an update to the Laserfiche Installer Client on
July 13, 2026. This will primarily affect the installer client infrastructure,
End users should not notice any changes to the Installer Client’s appearance or behavior.
Installations and downloads will continue to work exactly as before.
ACTION REQUIRED (IT / Network Administrators)
As a result of this update, the distribution URLs the client uses to
download content will change. If your organization limits outbound
network traffic with a firewall, web proxy, or allowlist, you may need
to update your rules so the Installer Client can reach the new location.
Please ensure outbound HTTPS (port 443) access is allowed to the
following URLs before July 13, 2026:
- https://d3hop2pwjyql7m.cloudfront.net (New)
- https://laserfiche-support-site-bucket.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com (New)
Notes for administrators:
- No changes are required to existing license or activation endpoints.
- We recommend applying these firewall changes ahead of the July 13, 2026 release date to avoid any interruption to downloads or updates.
- Keep the existing addresses in place after the update to prevent future network issues.
