Question

Question

Installer endpoint connectivity

asked on April 20

Prior to my upgrade to the Spring 2026 release, I updated my LF 12 installer to version - Launcher 12.0.2511.923; Installer 12.0.2603.1415 and tested the connection to the endpoints and they all failed.  My security team says they should all be accessible.

So I downloaded the LF Support tools and ran the connectivity test for the installation endpoints and it reports that connectivity is successful:

The installer is showing that there are new versions available for my apps so is there something off with the connectivity test in the installer?

A fix for this issue is now available. When you launch the installer, it should detect a new update available and prompt you to apply it. The new version (12.0.2605.1542) will address the bug in testing connections to the Laserfiche infrastructure endpoints.

We're looking into it.

Update: this appears to be a cosmetic issue with the verification. Can you confirm that you can download applications and install them?

Thanks Miruna,

I updated the installer to 12.0.2605.1542 and confirmed that the endpoint verification reports correctly.

I am using 12.0.2605.1542 and am able to test the Firewall/Proxy successfully, but when I try to refresh I get the message "Installer cannot connect to Laserfiche to get the list of available applications. Please check network status and installation code.". Looking in the log file I see:

Have you checked the installation code is still valid?
