Good Afternoon,

Looking to apply updates 5 and 6 to our WebLink, and we have several customized WebLinks that we are hosting on a server. When we apply the update it only updates the files in the default directory. To avoid overwriting our custom appearances, I am looking for a way to apply the update to each WebLink, with just the files that need to be updated. Looking at update 5, it looks like only these are updated:

  • \WebLink\WebLink\Web Files\bin\WebLinkControls.dll (11.0.2506.19)

The folder names don't match up exactly with ours (for example Designer when the installed folder says WebLinkDesigner), so not 100% certain the list is accurate.

 

Is anyone else doing this? Are you installing the update to the default, and then copying each of the listed files out and pasting them in the corresponding location in each weblink folder?

 

I would like to suggest to Laserfiche that a "customized WebLink" update package be put out with updates, where its just the files that need to be updated and their locations.
