Laserfiche Installer INST-3006
If this is regarding the newest version of the Laserfiche Installer not being able to update an existing version, that is documented in the release notes:
Agreed on the need for a KB.
In case you have not found a solution though, I was able to correct this issue by downloading the installer from the website again and just performing a manual uninstall of the old version and an installation of the new version.
Usually this happens if the installer can't connect to one of the endpoints it needs ( https://d1oywsbnq10fc4.cloudfront.net, https://infrapi.laserfiche.com/api , https://laserfiche-support-site-downloads.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com )
There may be more details in the LFInstaller.log under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Laserfiche\LFInstaller\Logs
