Whilst the new LF12 installer is really good, could it be possible to have a client side version that doesn't require an installation code? This would have only the client components (e.g. desktop client, office integration, snapshot, OCR etc.)

Perhaps by default you only get the client bits, then you put in an installation key and it unlocks the server side elements?

I'm struggling to see the logic of having the client components behind a key, when in LF you can install these freely. This would really help some of the smaller customers with upgrades. Enterprise customers can obviously package the MSI's. 

Please can this be considered? What are other peoples thoughts on this?
