Today, Sept 1st 2025, Laserfiche announces the End-of-Life for the Laserfiche Digital Signatures product. Starting with the Laserfiche 12, Spring 2026 release, Digital Signatures will be removed from all new versions of the product. Existing customers will still be able to validate previously created signatures but will not be able to create new signatures using the Spring release version. Digital Signatures in previous versions will continue to function; however, they will no longer be supported after the End-of-Life (EOL) date: March 1, 2026. The Australian VERS Classification Level feature in self-hosted systems will also be removed in new versions of the product following March 1, 2026. In alignment with these product EOLs, the certification for VERS will also be discontinued.  

On October 1st, 2025, we will no longer sell new instances of the product. Renewal sales of existing subscriptions to the product will end on Dec 31, 2025. March 1st, 2026, Laserfiche will end technical support for Digital Signatures, marking the End-of-life for the Laserfiche Digital Signatures feature and end of the VERS Certification. 

Product Migration Options 

We encourage you to consult with your Solution Provider to see which is the best path for your content management needs going forward. The Laserfiche Marketplace is another good resource for investigating alternative digital signature solutions. Customers with current support will be given credit towards a purchase of additional Laserfiche products such as additional Users. Credit does not apply to non-Laserfiche products or services. An exception of downgrades in total support are allowed in the case that you want to end support of the EOL Laserfiche product without purchasing additional product.
