Question

Snapshot 12 unable to Modify and remove shared printer

asked on June 10

Previously Snapshot was part of the Windows Client Suite and I could click modify from Windows Installed apps and choose if I wanted either Current User and/or Shared Printer.

The Modify option is greyed out now in Installed apps for the new Snapshot 12 isolated application. Also when installing I never got a choice to install only Current User.

I am trying to only install Current User configuration.

Snapshot 12 does not have the option now. We can try to make those two printers isolated so that you can install them independently if there is a reason.

The requirement to pick one or the other was due to print driver and OS limitations in previous versions. Snapshot 12 installs both printers by default.

Is there any way to remove the shared printer?

Ok, I will let them know. They did not want to install the shared printer. There was no plan to share it to other workstations.

Just to clarify, installing shared printer will not share it to other workstations unless people have configured it.
