I have a user that moved their scanner from one computer to another and now every time they want to scan they get the prompts to download desktop scanning or web scanning. Once they say OK, they can scan, but the prompt comes up every time.

I use desktop, but I think you can go into Tools > options and find the reset selection for prompts to turn them off or on. You can reset them all to default or I think Scan mode should be unchecked for this prompt to not display, but I don't know for sure in WebClient.
There's also this if this fits your issue more.

We tried a suggestion on anther post to delete the temp file and rerun the install.
The installer comes as .exe so the suggestion for the Zip is not an option.
I have found several of these issues in the community. Do we not have a resolution for this?
No official resolution from Laserfiche that I know of.
Scanning is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Laserfiche\Client\Scanning after a successful install.
To fix all of our machines, we copied Laserfiche\Client\Scanning folder (above) and pasted it into C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client\Scanning, then cleared cache and restarted the machine.
To date, we haven't had any more issues.
