Laserfiche 10.4 licensing question - P2V

I will be converting our physical server that hosts Laserfiche into a virtual machine. Everything on the server will remain the same, except the physical hardware that the server will reside on. Some software vendors associate specific hardware IDs to the license key. Does anyone know if we will need to re-register the license or anything like that?

More than likely yes. The default method of licensing in Laserfiche uses a hardware fingerprint. If you are able to before you make the move to a VM, you can work with your SP to request a Domain Locked license and get that implemented before you make the move.

100% switch to a domain locked license. Hardware fingerprints can be fragile with virtualized servers and domain licenses avoid that problem.
