I'm receiving the error below whenever I try to test AD synchronization. Any ideas on how to resolve? I've also provided the log from Event Viewer:

On the general tab, there is a host field. It is trying to say that it can not reach that host.
If a name was entered make sure it is resolving to an address, then make sure you can contact that address with something like a ping or any other form of contact. If so maybe ldap services are not running. You use LDAP Explorer as a 3rd party utility to verify that LDAP services are responding.

How are you running the Laserfiche Directory Server services? using a domain service account or local system account?
In the General Tab, you have 2 options "Use the service account to query the directory server" setup account LFDS
failover domain controllers are you using FQDM or IP address? Can you Laserfiche server ping all your domain controllers
