End-of-life Announcement for Add-on Modules

posted on August 2 Show version history

Today, August 2nd 2024, Laserfiche announces the End-of-Life for legacy add-on modules the Laserfiche product suite. These modules are not purchased products, but rather enhancements to support an implementation. Today marks the end of software maintenance for the following modules: Laserfiche Integration with Google Drive Import (CIS), Laserfiche Integration with OneDrive Import (CIS), and Laserfiche Web Scanning. The last day to access these modules from the Laserfiche Cloud and Laserfiche Support Site is February 6th, 2025. On December 31, 2025, Laserfiche will end technical support of the self-hosted modules, marking the End-of-life.

For customers currently using the import services, the alternative option is to manually import the documents. For customers using the Web Scanning module, the alternative is to use Desktop Scanning which works with both the Laserfiche web client and the Desktop client.

Correct. LF web scan is a different product than LF Desktop Scanning.

Thanks Veronica. Yes, the Lf Web Scanning product is used to scan images into the repository. The web client is used to search, view, edit and create documents in the repository. The desktop version of scanning works with both the web client and desktop client.
