Question

SAML token is expired,

asked on September 6, 2023

Hello,

I have a user that is receiving issues when we try to save or store files in QuickFields to the repository, "The SAML token returned by the server is expired or cannot be used at the current time.".  They have verified it is valid until 2026, is there anything the user must do on their side to ensure the SAML token works properly?  Error in screenshot.

Hi Alexandro,

What is your session's configuration to connect to the cloud repository? Through ACS embedded login page or username/password authentication?

Would it work if you restart Quick Fields or re-enter your credentials?

I am having the same issue with a new cloud client from on-premise.  Our only workaround right now is the re-enter the cloud number and login credentials.  Seems it only stores the information for a day for it states expired each morning they launch quick fields.

The behavior is by design. Another workaround is to use username/password authentication. Please see details in Lots of SAML Token Errors when using Quick Fields with the Cloud - Laserfiche Answers
