Hi,

 

I am having an issue where I try to set the Toolbar tabs in the Display within Web Client and the Annotations and Discussions tabs do not display (or stick when set under the Selected Tabs list under Configure Tab Display. I can see the actual annotations present on the document itself, but the Annotations pane itself does not show up at all). All things described below are true for both the Annotations and Discussion tabs.

 

Here is what I have tried so far:

- checking my permissions - I am a system administrator and have all access rights including Annotation viewing/editing/etc. rights

- opening a file that I know has annotations in the preview pane and checking to see if the Annotation tab appears - when I do this, there is no Annotation tab in the details, and if I go to "Configure Tabs", I can select "Common Tabs" to add it in, but the tab itself will not show up for me in the toolbar when I return to the document viewer. I have also found that in most instances, the Annotations tab entry does not stay in the Selected list under Configure Tab Display after it has been added and I have clicked "Apply".  

- Configuring my tab options in the Details pane or in the Options > Display > Tabs --in the Display settings, I can add the Annotations tab into the list (I've tried moving it to the top too in case there is a weird display bug) and the tab itself will not show up in the display. If I do it from the Details pane, adding the Annotations tab does not stick - if I refresh and open the Configure Tabs menu option, Annotations won't be in the list of tabs

- checking user attributes - I compared my attributes against another user (who has much more restricted permissions levels and is not experiencing this issue that I have) and could not find any significant differences

- different browsers - I have tried in edge and chrome and have the issue in both

 

I'm at a loss, and am supposed to be running a new user through training - it's hard to demonstrate things that I myself don't have access to. Thanks for any help you can give!
