WebDAV note in LF Admin documentation

Hi, I was just reading through the admin guide and found the following note (the area I am interested in is in the red box below). Can anyone help me understand what this means? Does that mean our Office integration requires WebDAV for certain functionality to work? We are running LF 11 on-prem.

Any clarification would be much appreciated, thanks!

No, that is not needed. In fact, WebDAV isn't really a thing in Laserfiche 11. Now that you've brought it to our attention, we're going to just axe that section altogether, I think it just came along as an old appendix.

The operating system list capping out with Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 certainly hints at the age of the section!
