Could not load type 'UploadFilterModule' Error After Upgrading to Forms 11 Update 4

I upgraded a system from Forms 11.0.2106.10367 to Forms 11 Update 4. I am able to access /FormsConfig without any problems and the database was upgraded successfully, but when I try to go to /Forms I receive a Server Error "Could not load type 'UploadFilterModule'.

It appears the issue may have been permissions related somehow. After reinstalling as a different user everything is working correctly.

Hi Blake!

Sorry for the inconvenience that troubled you while upgrading.  I tried to reproduce the issue with the version you mentioned but things were normal. No error when accessing forms and "UploadFilterModule" can found in web.config as well. 

Here's the step that I followed when trying to reproduce the issue, please let me know if I missed anything:

  • Install 11U1 with version 11.0.2106.10367 with user A
  • Apply 11U1 hotfix 2, version upgraded to 11.0.2106.10367
  • Install 11U4 with version 11.0.2307.40547 with user A

 

I also tested with some other user accounts for step 1 and 3, but no issues were found. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and feel free to let me know if I missed anything :)
