Hi,

We set our templates up to use %(parent) field values for certain fields and have set folders to inherit so that documents will autopopulate dependent on save location and selected template.

However, if during the initial user set up/authentication for the LF ribbon in an Office application (Word/PPT/Excel/Outlook) the repository is attached and authenticated against with Windows credentials (red box in image), the parent folder template does not get applied as a default, and tokens do not populate in the metadata fields when you save a document into Laserfiche from the Office application - fields are left blank instead and must be manually filled in.

If you authenticate with the "repositoryname/username" option (purple box in image), the tokens populate as intended, and the template defaults to that of the parent folder.

Does anyone have any idea why this occurs? We have Windows authentication set up as our method of logging in, so it would be nice if things with saving from Office applications were consistent, but that metadata field inheritance will be crucial to user adoption as their files are migrated in so that is the bigger priority.

Any insight would be super helpful. I will add some additional screenshots shortly.

Thanks!
