Laserfiche 11 has released an update for Directory Server and the Deployment Toolkit.

SCIM user synchronization support for Azure AD

The May 2023 release of Directory Server (version 11, update 3) adds support for SCIM 2.0 automatic user synchronization from Azure AD to your Laserfiche Directory server database.

When configured, the SCIM 2.0 service for Directory Server will automatically create, license, update, and delete users to reflect changes made within Azure AD.

Deployment toolkit version 1.1.1 now available

The deployment toolkit release includes enhancements for Audit Trail support, support for installing the latest version 11 releases, and various bugfixes.

The release notes don't mention these, but were any of the following included in this release:

The ability to assign different license types when using SCIM with Okta, instead of just 1

The release notes are complete: these items have not been implemented. The sort order and save behaviors are on our near term to-do list, potentially included in our second release this year.

Assigning different licensing types is planned for a future release of SCIM.

Does Okta now use SCIM 2.0 as well with this update or is it still using SCIM 1.1?

Yes: our SCIM 2.0 implementation includes support for Okta. The new SCIM 2.0 service for LFDS can replace Okta's own provisioning agent, which only supported SCIM 1.1.
