Field Widths Keep Reverting

I'm on Version 11.0.2212.30907 - Forms Layout Designer.

I have a bunch of fields laid out in columns and rows within a section.

Most of the fields are working fine, but I have a couple fields that will appear to save the way I set them up, but then when I leave the screen and return, the layouts have reverted to their original widths instead of what I set-up.

Most of the rows are not doing this. Most rows have several checkbox fields and/or some Custom HTML elements and/or a Single Line field. But there are a couple rows that have several checkbox fields, some Custom HTML elements, and TWO Single Line fields, and those are the rows that keep reverting and not saving the field widths I dictated. The only difference I see between the fields that are saving the widths and the ones that are not, is that the ones that are not saving, have at least two single line fields in the row, and the ones that are saving have zero or one of them.

Has anyone else encountered something like this?

Ya, I think this could be related. I have been able to reproduce this issue with 6 fields but not with 7. I'll tack it onto the same bug from the referenced post.

Oh - it might be.

In that post's screenshot, you see six fields all resetting to 1/6th of the width, and that seems similar to what I'm seeing.

One of the comments mentioned it being in a section, and I am using sections, so I'll play around with trying to replicate the issue inside and outside of the section to see if it has the same behavior.

Ya, I think this could be related. I have been able to reproduce this issue with 6 fields but not with 7. I'll tack it onto the same bug from the referenced post.

Okay, it is not the section. It does it inside and outside of the section.

It appears to be caused by the row having 6 fields in it. It doesn't save the widths of the fields you have dictated, but reverts back to 1/6th when you return to the page.

I can't get it to do it consistently, but if I have at least 6 fields in a row, then most of the time, it keeps reverting to the equal widths of the fields.

It seems like at some point, I seem to get it working so that it will save the widths, as long as I don't drag fields around to new positions, and only change the widths. But if I change field positions, so that it resets back to equal widths, the whole process starts all over, with me messing with the widths again and again, until they eventually seem to stick.

I don't know what I'm doing that makes it finally save the changes I'm making, but it's definitely not in the first few attempts.

Obviously, the bug needs to be fixed. But in the meantime, I've found a workaround that appears to be working consistently.

Once I have my six fields in the row, I change their width so that fields 1-5 are all as narrow as they can be, and field 6 is as wide as it can be. Then I save changes and leave the page. When I return to the page, the widths have now finally saved to what I set them at instead of reverting back to equal widths. I can now set them to what they need to be and save it, and it seems to save consistently.

Note that if I reposition any fields in or out of the row, I have to do it all over again.
