I think this will end up being several enhancement requests for Forms. For one of the sites that I administer (subsidiary company), they have local IT reps that monitor the processes and participate in a couple. They shouldn't be system administrators or admins on the processes we build for them. Overall, it works well, but there are some issues with the current state of the Business Manager role:
- The simple request that led me to post this: when they go to the Monitor tab, they do not have the option for All Processes. Instead, they have to manually select each process individually. They really should have an "All Processes" option that shows the processes they have business manager rights to. In fact, I had no idea that wasn't an option for non-administrators even after all these years.
- I give this IT group Business Manager rights to each process. I would really like that as a system-wide role, so they have oversight to everything going on without it having to be set for each process individually.
- This came up in another thread, but there is a "lower level" business manager type role I would like to request. Basically, I want people to have the ability to see an instance's history (what you go to from the Monitor page), but not have the ability to reassign or update variables. Basically, a read-only view of an in-progress instance.
