Forms Configuration LFDS Error: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable.

Hello,

We are testing a Forms install for a customer.

We are able to get the majority of the configuration done, but when we setup the LFDS connection and go to save the configuration we get the following error messages

"The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable"

 

"The HTTP service located at http://<CustomersLFDSServerFQDN :5048/LicenseManager/service2 is unavailable.  This could be because the service is too busy or because no endpoint was found listening at the specified address. Please ensure that the address is correct and try accessing the service again later."

LFDS is on a separate server then Forms, but on the same domain.

Not sure what else to check.

Hi Jeff,

Have you tried running the EndpointUtility? Do you have LFDS alternative service or other customizations?

Hello Rui,

Yes we have run the EndpointUtility and confirmed settings are correct for LFDS Server.

We have tried with Alternate Service checked (Correct cert installed on both LFDS and Form Server) and not checked. Same error.

We have run Forms endpoint utility as well, confirming the correct FQDN is used for the LFDS server, keeping the Service account box blank, and tested with STS enabled and left blank, same issue
