PDF generation fails

Hi everyone

We removed an old, insecure web browser from our Laserfiche 10.4 server only to discover that LaserFiche was using this browser to generate PDFs from submitted forms. Error shown below.

How to I point Laserfiche to the new/different browser for the PDF creation? I can't see any configuration setting for this.

 

The Chromium browser used by the PDF generator was not installed correctly.

Error: HTMLtoPDFDirectoryNotFound

You will want to upgrade to Laserfiche Forms 11 Update 3 to get on the current version of Forms (or Laserfiche Forms 11 Update 2 for minimum requirements) and then follow the instructions in Using Either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for PDF Generation with Forms 11 Update 2 to change the browser used to generate the PDFs.

Which version are you using? In Forms 11Update2 or above, we support to use Chrome or Edge as PDF generator Using Either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for PDF Generation with Forms 11 Update 2 - Knowledge Base (laserfiche.com)

How can I determine which version of Forms I have, Shengyao Que?

you can check the dropdown of your user name in Forms site:

 

The popup dialog will have the version detail:

Thank you Bert Warren and Shengyao Que. The update to Forms 11.0.2 fixed my problem.
