installed laserfiche 11 on a test server and activation key would not work

Created a test server from our 10.2 production server and tried on installing version 11 for testing.  After installation we received a activation key error and the program features in control panel say that it is installed but I cannot find it on the server.  The LF admin console is 11 but nothing else.  Do I need to activate 11 on this test server and how do I do that?

Hi Daryl, 

It appears your organization has "Avante" licensing with only one Laserfiche Server license. Your existing activation key won't activate the new LF 11 installation because there aren't any activations remaining.

Laserfiche has licensing options available for both temporary and permanent test environments. I recommend reaching out to your Solution Provider to discuss what makes the most sense for you.
