I know there are ways to increase the font size of the folder/file text, and we can obviously lower the resolution or increase scaling of the OS, but is there any direct control for increasing the text input for metadata fields/panes? A user is having issues distinguishing 'i' from 'l' and 'rn' from 'm' and so forth, but doesn't want to make everything else on the machine gigantic.

Are you asking about the client, WebLink, or Web Client?
In the client, you can modify the default value under Options > View > General > Change Font...
In WebLink, you can modify the CSS files located here:
C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\WebLink\WebLink\Web Files\Custom
In Web Client, you can modify the CSS files located here:
C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files\Assets\custom
In the Client. Changing the font settings under Browser > General > Use custom font or under Options > View > General > Change Font does not change the size of the font of the actual input text. It does change the size of the font of the metadata fields, but that is not what he is asking for.
Hi Jesse,
I've had success with using the Ctrl + + command on the keyboard to zoom into the pane and increase the size of the metadata display text and input text. You have to be clicked on the pane (like clicking where the Template name is, not into a field) for it to zoom.
It does function as a zoom method so it zooms into the middle of the pane (and if you zoom in far enough you might need to move the scroll bar to the right to see the fields again). You can also use Ctrl + - to decrease the zoom and Ctrl + 0 to reset the zoom.
This Answers post (https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/58138/metadata-panel-font ) has some additional information as well.
Do you think that would help for the customer?
Otherwise, it might be useful to use the Web Client instead which has options for zooming in the browser. I think there are also some useful browser extensions that can help with readability and zooming too, but obviously those extensions would be outside of Laserfiche.
How about using a tool like Windows Magnifier if they're not willing to increase the Windows font size?
