Registering users for access to Answers

Are there any special rules for 'registering' new users to the support sites? It is for this site: https://community.laserfiche.com/registeraccount

Our VAR has been handling this for us in the past but we will be doing it ourselves now. It's just faster that way. Anyhow, here are a couple questions we had:

  • Does the number of licenses you have dictate how many folks can access the support sites?
  • Is there any method to upload a group of users rather than one by one?
  • Any other restrictions we should know about?

Do any other VARs have a hard time getting this user registration to work? We constantly get a message that says "an error has occurred. Please contact your organization's Laserfiche administrator for help." But other times when trying to register the exact same account while logged in as the exact same user, it works fine. We use the same URL that Chris posted. Been a problem for us for a while.

Hoping someone else can answer your question, Chris - guessing we must be doing something wrong.

EDIT: Found out our issue was related to the "Company Name" field on the registration form being case sensitive. Easy fix.
