Scan window not showing up

I have a co-worker that's just added a Fujitsu Fi-6130z scanner. He's not done any scanning before. When he scans (in either mode) the scanner feeds the document through the scan preview window doesn't open. I can log into the PC and it works fine. Which scan engine are you using? If it's TWAIN, check its properties (in Laserfiche Scanning) to make sure it's set to show the scanner software.

I wasn't sure so we checked and he's using TWIAN and it's checked.
