Question

Snapshot Corruption with Multipage Documents

asked on April 7, 2021

We’ve noticed within the last couple of weeks that when we SnapShot documents into Laserfiche (PDF, TIFF) that if the document has more than one page, only the first page is correct on the Laserfiche side.  Any page or pages after that are corrupted.  I’ve attached the file before it was printed via SnapShot.  The other file is how it appeared in Laserfiche after the SnapShot.  Anybody else seeing this?

It sounds like it could be the same thing described here https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/184712/Multiple-page-document-Snapshots-incorrectly . I think the TL;DR is that MS has a patch available.

Our LF VAR person is telling us the same thing.  We haven't applied the update yet though.  Our issue with Snapshot did, in fact, start around that time (March 25th, 2021) so we're feeling pretty confident that this update will fix the issue.

We recently started experiencing the same issue. Since this started without seeming to correspond to any changes to our LF environment, it's possible resource Snapshot utilizes changed.

We had an issue years back that was caused by an update to .NET Framework, so might not be a bad idea to look through recent system updates and see if anything coincides.
