This may be more of a general IIS issue. If you browse to http://localhost  do you see the standard IIS backdrop site?

It should look like this:-

Excellent, so IIS is up and running.

Have you completed the Laserfiche app configuration?

It should be an icon on your desktop like this:-

Great, if you double click it, does it open up, and can you configure everything that's inside that configruation window.

Excellent, so loading the app on the same computer from the microsoft app store, and entering http://localhost/Mobile.  What happens then?

If you install the web client/web access on the same machine and try that, does that work?

Interesting, does the mobile configuration page load correctly?

Also just to check, you are using the LF app on the same PC through windows and not on a mobile device or tablet?

As a next step, I would adivse opening a case with LF support, as something is clearly very wrong here.

Hi Chris,

I have a question about Oracle Database.

Still, Laserfiche runs on Oracle Database? if Yes how we can connect or configure Laserfiche?

Thanks

Laserfiche at this moment in time does support Oracle, supported version details are outlined here https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1013784/laserfiche-server-10-supported-configurations

I think there are plans to deprecate this however...

Hi Chris,

But Laserfiche can still connect to oracle?

Thanks

At this moment in time yes, you can use Oracle to host your Laserfiche system. To reference an Oracle DB as a lookup however, there may be some additional ODBC connectors etc. you'll need to configure.

Hi Chris,

Let me rephrase my question, if I will buy the latest Laserfiche RIO for MSSQL will it run with Oracle? And what version of Oracle? If yes, will I need some additional ODBC connectors etc?

Thanks

Ahhhhhh, I see. No there is a special version of Laserfiche for Oracle. I'm not sure if you can buy it new anymore, as I said they are removing support for Oracle. You'll need to chat with your Laserfiche account manager to find out what's possible. smiley
