Hello Laserfiche Community, I've got a situation with a customer that I could use some advice on.

This customer is trying to get reports out of an ERP system and bring them into the repository.  Normally I would recommend LF Snapshot for this but his reports have some pages that are Landscape and others that are Portrait Orientation and when they're brought into the repository, the landscape pages are changing to portrait which means the report is sideways.

We've tried changing the printer preferences from portrait to landscape but then we get the opposite issue where all the portrait pages are flipped sideways.  I've tried enabling image enhancements (specifically Auto-rotate) but of course Snapshot only applies image enhancements "locally" to perform OCR and then reverts the image back to its original state when storing in the repository.

I then thought we could use Universal Capture to Scan the document into the repository but unfortunately we couldn't find a way to save the reports as JPEG, TIFF, or BMP (which for some reason is still the only extensions that LF Scanning will function with).

I know QuickFields can scan PDF documents AND apply permanent image enhancements but that's kind of like asking a brain surgeon to remove a splinter.  Plus they are on Rio and it would just be ridiculous to try and sell them another QF license just so this one user can have his reports auto-rotated.

Has anyone else ran into a situation like this and has some advice for me?

Is there a setting to get Snapshot to keep the original orientation for each page instead of defaulting to one orientation for the entire print job?

Is there a way to get Snapshot to apply image enhancements permanently like you can with LF Scan Module?

Thanks for any help you can provide!
