Laserfiche is not opening even after double clicking its icon

Hi Team,

 

One of our users is facing very strange issue. His Laserfiche application is not opening on his machine even after double clicking its icon have tried going to the file location in C drive and open it but still able to see Laserfiche only in the taskbar. 

When I click on highlighted Start Page as shown below nothing happens. We are also not receiving any errors.

Please help me in resolving this issue.

The program(s) may be displayed off screen.  Close down all your applications and then start just a single instance of the LF Client.

  • Right-click the program on the taskbar, and then click Maximize.
  • Right-click a blank area of the taskbar, and then click Cascade Windows.
  • Resize the program's window as appropriate.

When trying to right click the application on taskbar, maximize option is not coming. I think application has got corrupted, so have now raised a request to update software profile on the users machine.

If the Maximize is not available, then the window may already be maximized and you try the next step of Cascading the Windows.

This will occur when moving from Dual (or more) monitor configurations to a Single Monitor, or different LEFT/RIGHT UP/DOWN configuration.

It can also occur if you're 'sharing' Repository Users and one user moves the window (Application or Scanning) to a NON-Default monitor. The next time another user using the 'shared' repo user opens the app, or scanning it will be off screen.

It also appears like it's time to upgrade Windows, won't fix this issue, but the Hover/Preview make this easier to work with.

Close all instances of Laserfiche in the Task Manager. Restart PC if that doesn't work. Do a client repair/Uninstall Re-Install as last resort.

Had tried to close all  instances of Laserfiche in the Task Manager and then open the application, but it still didn't worked. Have now raised a request to update software profile on the users machine.

I have been having this issue with my users. I had upgraded to version 11 a few months ago and everything was working fine. This only started happening recently where it would open the file off screen. However, I have had a few issues where it would open but stay as loading. When this happens, it would require a reboot of the whole computer. My users are individually licensed and have been using dual monitors since the beginning. We've tried repairing it and redoing the registry to no avail. Has there been a patch to address this issue? I can't seem to find anything online.
