Hello,
We are testing a back up for a customer who has created a VM, that we copied over the volume folders and Repository DB and did a fresh install of LF.
After the setup was complete, we were able to login with the admin account to the LF Client, but when we tested with a named user/link AD, we get permission denied when we select windows auth.
If I remove the linked AD account and assign an LF PW, the user can then log in and they have all of their perms still.
This VM is on the Domain, and when I used the attached option, I could see their production LF Server, so I am wondering if the issue is due to AD auth to production LF is blocking this backup set.
They have also setup a DC failover on a VM, so I was wondering to test this, they should do a true Production failover to both the AD VM and LF VM and this should work, I believe, but I am not sure.
Appreciate any feedback,
Jeff Curtis
