emails with the eml extension content are not appearing in preview in forms

Hello,

When clicking the preview button in forms the body is not displaying for .eml (however it is working for .msg) I found the below question and checked the Electronic text extraction on the server and I see both .eml and .msg listed so it does not appear to solve my issue however I am mentioning it because it seems very similar.

Is there any other settings to check that would cause eml not to display contents and msg to work? I verified there is data in the email body by opening the email in notepad.

This is my second attempt at posting this, I believe the first did not go through although this might be a duplicate. ALso this is concerning version 10.4 and I believe the preview functionality was add in 10.3 for .eml

Any information would be greatly appreciated,

The preview functionality for .eml files added in 10.3 was specifically in the preview tab of the web client. If you select a .eml file, you can see the text in the right pane. This functionality was never added to Forms, whose preview functionality focuses around image documents, not text documents. I will add this as a feature request, but it is not currently supported.

We are on the same version and I noticed that preview did not work on these files as well. Going to submit a support ticket with my VAR.
