How to Generate Pages AND Recognize Text from Emails in LF Desktop Client?

Some of our users like to use the document viewer pane to preview emails before opening them. In order to have an image in the document pane of an email, the email has to have pages generated. When pages are generated, the text recognition disappears in the preview pane. 

 

Is there a way to generate pages and text at the same time for an email?

Thanks, I don't think we use import agent. It's just dragging the email into the repository, applying a template and then having to generate pages, and then text again after generating pages.

Hi Steve, 

We have the eml option in index. When the email is brought into Laserfiche, the text is extracted. However, when we generate pages on the email, the text then goes away.

Ah, i see, we use the WebClient where it displays in the Doc viewer
