I heard on the grapevine that Laserfiche are potentially developing a Mac client, like a windows client.
If this is true, do we have any kind of rough timeline on when this might be available?

With the exception of the iOS app, I'm not aware of any team developing software targeting Apple devices.
Consider this another request for a native Mac client.
I hope you're right, but when I spoke with a Laserfiche developer at Empower, he said something to the effect that they wanted the web client to become so good that no one would want a native client. That of course, is a tall order to fill for something that has to run in a browser. Their web developers have been doing impressive work, but I still like my native Windows software, and think it would be great to have something like it to give our Mac users.
Yeah, it's something we get asked pretty frequently. But like you say no matter how good the web client gets, it will never be able to replace the functionality and 'feel' provided by native software. I don't think this should be dismissed.
