Question

Single form for multiple approvals

asked on February 21, 2020 Show version history

I am working on a travel authorization process, which consists of two approvals (among others):

1. Pre-travel estimates including per-diem estimates, and other cost-related information signed by the office supervisor

2.  Pre-travel cost estimates signed by the department head

Each signature above is done using a separate form (within the same business process), where the values of the field variables are brought over from one form to another.

Could this be done by using just one form if I remove the signature field on each form, and just rely on the Laserfiche approve/reject buttons?

Thanks.

If the only difference between the two forms is the signature field and sign with a signature is not a must for approval, you can use one form instead and rely on the approve/reject buttons with comments.
