Laserfiche database on MS Azure SQL PaaS

Hi there,

Good day.

Has anyone or customer successfully setup Laserfiche on MS Azure with database sitting on MS Azure SQL PaaS?

Any document reference to share if there is?

Hi Winston,

Laserfiche 10.4.2 and up support Azure SQL Database (PaaS). You can use normal Azure SQL Database for all applications other than Audit Trail, which only supports Azure SQL Database Managed Instance at the moment.

There's nothing special about using it vs SQL Server. Simply provide the database connection information as normal.

If you do encounter any issues, try pre-creating empty databases for your Laserfiche applications first. Sometimes Azure SQL Database takes a long time on the "Create database" step which can cause timeouts.
