Why are we seeing two different images when documents are scanned in by two different people?

We receive our A/P invoices via e-mail.  When the attachment is moved to Laserfiche by dragging it or by using the ribbon, it sometimes leaves off images or critical wording that shows up with we transfer using Laserfiche Snapshot.  We've confirmed that both users are on the same pdf version and we don't see it on every document; but enough that we need to find a fix.  An example is attached.

As you've experienced snapshot has a more intelligent engine for interpreting a readable black and white image.  You have a few options.

  1. Use snapshot
  2. Uncheck "Import monochrome images" under Tools > Options > New Documents > Settings.  You'll get color pages which are larger but easier to read in this case.
  3. Don't generate Laserfiche pages, keep the PDF in your repository.
