Laserfiche Entries from Excel

Hi,

I have a challenge...

I have an excel in which i have data, say about 1000 rows

The columns are the Template Fields.

I want to create these documents in LF with row data being Field Data for every entry.

So at the end there will be 1000 Documents, with every row being one document & the row data being Field Values?

 

I don't have Quick Fields, how to do with Workflow?

Hi Sahil,

If this is for a once-off data import (rather than a lookup source for a dynamic fields, for example) then use Workflow. Set up an ODBC connector to the spread sheet and use the "for each row" loop to read out the metadata.

If the process is going to be repeated regularly, then there are other methods you could use within Workflow to setup easily repeatable process.
